When a piece is made to order, we do not pull it from a shelf. We schedule an atelier session, allocate rope and leather for your colourway, and coil the form in one continuous workflow. That is why lead times sit around seven to fourteen business days rather than next-day dispatch — the bag does not exist until you ask for it.
Why one artisan matters
Tension in rope coiling is a conversation between hand and fiber. Changing hands mid-wall changes the accent. We keep a single maker on each bag so the ridge rhythm stays legible from base to rim. That discipline limits how many pieces we can release per season — and that is intentional.
Before your bag ships
Every piece is inspected for ridge spacing, hardware seating, and strap attachment. We ship with clear care notes and tracking because a slow-made bag should arrive with the same calm precision that built it.
