What Made-to-Order Really Means

Made-to-order is not a delay — it is how we keep one artisan on one piece from first bend to last. Here is the timeline from confirmation to dispatch.

When a piece is made to order, we do not pull it from a shelf. We schedule a studio session, allocate wire and pearls for your piece, and shape the form in one continuous workflow. That is why lead times sit around seven to fourteen business days rather than next-day dispatch — the piece does not exist until you ask for it.

Why one artisan matters

Tension in wire shaping is a conversation between hand and metal. Changing hands mid-piece changes the accent. We keep a single maker on each piece so the curve rhythm stays legible from first bend to last. That discipline limits how many pieces we can release per season — and that is intentional.

Before your piece ships

Every piece is inspected for pearl seating, wire finish, and closure strength. We ship with clear care notes and tracking because a slow-made piece should arrive with the same calm precision that built it.
